In other parts of the country, people might be quick to think about tunnels as being underground features or something trains go through. Here in Dallas, though, you might think about our Dallas Pedestrian Network, which obviously connects various city attractions, offices, and hotels. One cool thing about this system is that it developed organically. […]
Dallas residents who love the thrill of competition and spending time with friends (or even making new ones!) should check out Dallas Sport & Social Club. The organization offers an array of recreational sport leagues for those who want to play football, basketball, soccer, and softball, but also has less physically demanding activities like darts […]
Here at Dallas Podiatry Works, we provide treatment for many foot and ankle conditions that cause pain and impair functionality, but our preference is to know you were able to avoid an issue from developing in the first place. To help you with this, we have several Achilles tendinitisprevention tips that are actually quite easy to […]
Most people are quite familiar with the term “Achilles heel.” This is often used—sometimes in a lighthearted way—to describe someone’s “one” weakness. Now, Achilles from Greek mythology may have only been vulnerable in the back of his heel, but we are all human and no one really has only a single weakness! Ironically, the Achilles […]
Announcer: Welcome to America’s favorite new game show – How Well Do You Know Bunions? [Jaunty intro music plays.] Host: For those just tuning in, this game show consists of several “true and false” questions based on bunion facts. It looks like our three contestants are all ready to participate, so let’s get started. The first round begins […]
In an “instant gratification” world, it is not really surprising to know people will try to find shortcuts in all kinds of areas. This might be okay some of time—like when you oversleep and pick up your morning coffee from local Dallas shops like Cultivar Coffee or Roots Coffeehouse on the way to work—but there […]
One of the best ways to contribute to a worthy organization is by participating in a charity 5K fundraiser, and there is a great opportunity to do so on June 11. The Susan G. Komen North Texas Plano Race for the Cure is an event held in Plano, TX to support breast cancer research. That […]
We have so many gyms and exercise classes here in Dallas. If you are looking for a Cross-Fit gym, there are several to choose from. Want to feel comfortable in a gym for only females? You certainly have options. There are many facilities if you are more of a “traditional” gym kind of guy or […]
During summer vacation kids have fun playing at any of our countless parks, or swimming and splashing at the 17 outdoor pools in Dallas. Of course, some things should definitely not be reserved solely for summer, like child foot care. Sure, we want your children to have healthy feet to enjoy the time off from school, […]
Heel pain is surprisingly common, but not enough people here in Dallas take action about it. This can cause conditions to worsen and favorite activities to lose their luster. The sad part is that there is no reason to put up with the hurting, especially when it is so easy to come see us for […]
Your Top-Rated Podiatrist in the Dallas & Fort Worth Metroplex
The doctor has great “bedside manners” when talking to patients. Great staff and comfortable atmosphere.

The staff at Dallas Podiatry Works could not have been more courteous, helpful, and professional in doing their job. They made me feel comfortable when I was there, which is certainly appreciated. They answered all the questions that I had and just made each visit the most pleasurable that it could be. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing this type of foot care.

I would highly recommend Dr. Brook to anyone with foot problems–especially problems that stump other podiatrists. He really is very caring and very knowledgeable.

Dr. Joel Brook and the staff were nice and helpful. Though I was a new patient, I got right in as soon as they were open in my preferred location. They diagnosed the problem and provided medicines along with a perfect gel bandage so I could keep exercising while my toes healed. My toes already hurt less and look a little better each day. If I have future issues, I will be a repeat customer. Here’s hoping I don’t, but at least I know my feet are in good hands.

I visited this office for an ingrown toe nail a few years ago. After seeing another doctor, who made it worse, he referred me to Dallas Podiatry Works. The doctor there was able to fix my problem. I’m not great with reviews, all I can tell you is that this doctor and staff will have you up and running or doing whatever it is you do in no time. You will be in great hands. You’d be a fool not to use this doctor. Now its time to visit him again for the other toe.
