Advanced Technology to Relieve Foot & Ankle Painlaser foot therapy dallas

If you suffer from plantar fasciitis, arthritis, or Achilles tendinitis, then laser therapy for pain in Dallas, TX & Plano, TX, may be the perfect solution for you. Our office now offers laser therapy with Diowave Laser technology — the world’s leader in high-power laser therapy and medicine. Read more below about how this laser can help relieve your foot and ankle pain.

The Diowave Laser

The cutting-edge Diowave laser is an FDA-cleared Class IV treatment for foot and ankle conditions. It features revolutionary Stealth Micro-Pulse Technology™, which stimulates tissues deeper than other lasers and allows our podiatrist to treat various foot and ankle problems with better outcomes. Additionally, 100% of this laser is focused on healing the exact area causing your pain, not the surrounding tissues, making it more effective for pain relief.

How Does it Work?

Diowave laser therapy is non-invasive — it simply causes a photochemical reaction that brings more oxygen and blood to the affected area in your foot or ankle, which boosts cell energy and encourages healing. Lasers can effectively relieve pain caused by plantar fasciitis, tendinitis, joint disorders such as arthritis, and more. It works to:

  • Decrease inflammation and tissue swelling
  • Reduce pain
  • Accelerate wound healing
  • Stimulate tissue repair
  • Promote healthy tissue growth
  • Prevent formation of scar tissue

The Diowave Laser has also been proven to be extremely beneficial when treating toenail fungus.

Our podiatrist can help determine if Diowave laser therapy is right for your specific foot condition during your assessment!

Procedure & Aftercare

Laser therapy is fast, offers rapid pain relief, doesn’t require sedation, and has virtually no side effects. Each Diowave laser therapy session only takes about 10-20 minutes — you can schedule it around your busy day! During the Diowave treatment, you’ll feel a slight warmth as the laser begins to affect the cells and tissues that have been damaged. To achieve the full healing benefits of this treatment, we will recommend between 6-12 laser sessions. Our doctor will be able to determine the exact amount of visits you will need based on your unique case.

The doctor has great “bedside manners” when talking to patients. Great staff and comfortable atmosphere.

The staff at Dallas Podiatry Works could not have been more courteous, helpful, and professional in doing their job. They made me feel comfortable when I was there, which is certainly appreciated. They answered all the questions that I had and just made each visit the most pleasurable that it could be. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing this type of foot care.

I would highly recommend Dr. Brook to anyone with foot problems–especially problems that stump other podiatrists. He really is very caring and very knowledgeable.

Dr. Joel Brook and the staff were nice and helpful. Though I was a new patient, I got right in as soon as they were open in my preferred location. They diagnosed the problem and provided medicines along with a perfect gel bandage so I could keep exercising while my toes healed. My toes already hurt less and look a little better each day. If I have future issues, I will be a repeat customer. Here’s hoping I don’t, but at least I know my feet are in good hands.

I visited this office for an ingrown toe nail a few years ago. After seeing another doctor, who made it worse, he referred me to Dallas Podiatry Works. The doctor there was able to fix my problem. I’m not great with reviews, all I can tell you is that this doctor and staff will have you up and running or doing whatever it is you do in no time. You will be in great hands. You’d be a fool not to use this doctor. Now its time to visit him again for the other toe.
