Children can be pretty durable. They trip, they fall, they scrape their hands and knees—and then they get up and get back on their bikes or chase after their ball. So when something occurs that slows them down, you feel concerned. You don’t want your child to be in pain. Fortunately, good children’s foot care […]
It isn’t terribly unusual to think that adults are the only ones who develop bunions. After all, there is a perception that this condition is closely linked to stilettos and pumps – shoes for grown-ups. It’s important to understand that children can develop them, too. When your child needs care for a pediatric bunion, Dallas Podiatry […]
There are many possible injuries and conditions that you can experience in your lower limbs, but not all are equally as likely. At Dallas Podiatry Works, we certainly can provide treatment for rare conditions (like Buerger’s or Kohler’s diseases), but we also see a fair amount of common injuries like ankle sprains. No matter what […]
Since they were first used for medical diagnoses, the value of X-rays in pinpointing problems inside the human body has been proven again and again. They help doctors find and visualize fractures, tumors, and other problems so they can be treated. Even though the technology does come with a slight risk from exposure to the rays […]
It’s very frustrating when you can’t do the things you enjoy or even carry out necessary daily tasks. This can be the situation with a foot injury—a hindrance that can make going to the mailbox or taking a shower difficult. Our feet and ankles are so intricately designed, and we often don’t realize the incredible […]
There are many causes of foot pain, and one target area that we hear patients complain about often is discomfort in the ball of their foot. This is where the toes join the rest of the foot and it is composed of muscles, ligaments, tendons, bones and nerves. Your forefoot endures a great amount of stress and […]
https://www.dallaspodiatryworks.com/videos/custom-shoe-inserts-dallas-tx.mp4 Sometimes people and objects need a little extra support to avoid serious damage. What do you do when you pack a box full of glass cups or vases to prevent them from breaking? You fill the spaces between them with padding, whether you use packing paper or Styrofoam or bubble wrap. Maybe you’ve felt that agonizing pain in the back of your heel before—one moment you’re running or jumping, and the next you feel a sharp snap in the back of your foot. Suddenly you can barely walk and your ankle is swollen and bruised. Chances are high that you have torn or ruptured that main tendon […]

Your Top-Rated Podiatrist in the Dallas & Fort Worth Metroplex
The doctor has great “bedside manners” when talking to patients. Great staff and comfortable atmosphere.

The staff at Dallas Podiatry Works could not have been more courteous, helpful, and professional in doing their job. They made me feel comfortable when I was there, which is certainly appreciated. They answered all the questions that I had and just made each visit the most pleasurable that it could be. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing this type of foot care.

I would highly recommend Dr. Brook to anyone with foot problems–especially problems that stump other podiatrists. He really is very caring and very knowledgeable.

Dr. Joel Brook and the staff were nice and helpful. Though I was a new patient, I got right in as soon as they were open in my preferred location. They diagnosed the problem and provided medicines along with a perfect gel bandage so I could keep exercising while my toes healed. My toes already hurt less and look a little better each day. If I have future issues, I will be a repeat customer. Here’s hoping I don’t, but at least I know my feet are in good hands.

I visited this office for an ingrown toe nail a few years ago. After seeing another doctor, who made it worse, he referred me to Dallas Podiatry Works. The doctor there was able to fix my problem. I’m not great with reviews, all I can tell you is that this doctor and staff will have you up and running or doing whatever it is you do in no time. You will be in great hands. You’d be a fool not to use this doctor. Now its time to visit him again for the other toe.
