Dr. Simon is the finest doctor I’ve ever been to…hands down! She is professional, kind, personable, knowledgeable, intelligent and has the very best bedside manner I have experienced from any doctor. She needs to be in charge of teaching, “What It Takes to be the Best Doctor.” I would give anything to find a primary care physician who is exactly like her. She is excellent in every category. I was in so much pain and she knew instantly what was going on with my foot. Needless to say, it’s rare to find a doctor who is this dedicated and makes you feel that you are the most important patient in her practice. After suffering with an ingrown toenail for three or four months, I came here and saw Dr. Oshiokpekhai. (I hope I spelled that correctly.) Everyone in the place was polite. The procedure was pretty quick with very little waiting. He gave me a shot of benzocaine and trimmed off the edge of my toenail. I didn’t feel a thing during the procedure. My toe was just slightly sore for a day or two and I had to take antibiotics, but at no point did it feel as bad as before I went in. Don’t wait as long as I did. It’s an easy procedure and this is the place to have it done.

I was immediately welcomed when I arrived. The office was very clean. I only waited a few minutes. The PA was terrific and explained what the appointment would be like. Dr. Brook was friendly, explained his diagnosis and what could be done. He answered all of my questions. I never felt rushed.
My second visit was for a pedicure with Ida Martin. I was nervous facing the procedure due to my embarrassment of my nail fungus. Ida was amazing! She was professional, yet compassionate. Ida explained each step of the procedure and answered all of my questions. Besides being a knowledgeable Medical Pedicurist, she is someone who cares about her patients.

Dr O (KEVIN OSHIOKPEKHAI,) has done an awesome job of treating and resolving my plantar fasciitis problem. At one point, the pain was unbearable and I thought I would have to cancel a long planned trip to Hawaii for my 70th BD. Thanks to the excellent treatment and direction by Dr O, I went on my 12 day trip in only mild discomfort as I followed the instructions and exercise routines he had advised for me. Today, I informed him that my pain and all discomfort in my feet were non-existent. So sadly, I don’t have a need for a follow-up visit ????

I lost my little toe since I was two years old in an accident. For many years my big toe fill up a missing toe and caused my toe to severely deform. It also cut off my blood circulation with bruises and painful foot experiences. I was in a hospital with a heart attached symptom. It turned out the foot cut off my blood circulation. I called 4 orthopedic offices in DFW for consultation, but they all do not handle a complicated foot problem. They then told me that I need to see podiatrist specialist foot surgeon. I went to Dr. Joel Brook 10 years ago before my most recent one a few months ago. He did recommend that I should insert a rod in my toe to keep it straight, but I was not ready 10 years ago. This time was different. I urgently needed it and Dr. Joel Brook goes above and beyond his professional and personnel to his patients. He immediately offered to put me on an emergency surgery schedule. He enrolled himself to my insurance network before I even asked, in order to fix my broken foot. On the day of my surgery, he waited until the office was about to close to make sure that I was doing okay in the recovery room. With his expertise and exceptional skills set, he did a minimum cut on my surgery to allow the tissues to heal with minimal scarring. Even with a metal rod and 5 screws in place, I was able to do a limp walk in one month without crutches, and I fully recovered after 3 months. It is a miracle that I was saved by Dr. Joel. I called him my angel doctor. He put his patient on top of his best interests. I was turned down many times for the treatment by other orthopedic doctors and Dr Joel always offered to help in any way before I even asked him for help. He is dedicated, professional, and the most exceptional doctor that I have ever met in my life. He enjoys being a surgeon and loves his work. His staff are also very friendly and nice. If you want the best outcome on your foot surgery, you are in a right place under Dr. Joel Brook’s care. I have no doubt that he is one of the very best foot surgeons in DFW. I am very blessed to be under his care! Thank you very much Dr. Joel Brook (my angel)! Come and see doctor Joel Brook for yourself. We always need many more good doctors in this world like Dr. Joel Brook. He saved my life and I hope he will save you too.
