Fun Valentine's Day IdeasWhen Valentine’s Day comes around, there may be more to do than buying cards and chocolates! Have you ever stopped to find out what might be going on in your local community? Here in Dallas, TX, Drs. Joel Brook and David Northcutt of Dallas Podiatry Works encourage patients to get out, get active and have fun no matter what the holiday is.

Joining in a walk or a run is a great way to celebrate the day with a spouse, son, daughter or special someone in your life. You can support your community even today by making a last minute entry into the Cupid’s Chase 5K Run in Dallas. There are great prizes and giveaways and you can support those with developmental disabilities at the same time.

If sweating and having burning muscles isn’t your bag and you are looking for something a bit more fun and unique to try, here are some great ideas:

Take a chocolate bus tour! Tour Dallas, visit four chocolate-related venues and eat your heart out with delicious treats. Visit www.dallasbychocolate.com.

Take your sweetheart into the air! Enjoy the views of the Dallas skyline on a flight and dinner date with Delta or take a Valentine’s Day hot air balloon adventure with Rohr Balloons. Either is sure to make a “high impact.”

Everyone loves to be pampered on Valentine’s Day and who doesn’t love to get gifts for their feet? Contact Drs. Brook and Northcutt for some great foot care products that will be sure to please. Call our podiatric office at (972) 566-7474 in Dallas or (972) 943-3323 in Plano or fill out our online contact form.
